Her specialties are Military Relocation, buyers, sellers, and renters.Irene volunteers with several programs at the school district and community, and within the Goodfellow community. She understands the need for connections in the small (but HUGE) family of fellow military families. She has set out to help with the number one worry of military members and their families, housing! Irene is a military spouse and understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in the armed forces and the struggles. Knowing what, when, where, why & how is just the beginning of a PCS…not to mention all of the variables such as spouse is TDY or deployed, children in school, children and adults with special needs, pet needs, vehicles and the list goes on and on. Irene has paired her experiences with her knowledge of San Angelo and as a military spouse to be the voice for families in finding their home away from home. Being available to those stationed overseas, late night/early morning calls due to time differences, countless visits to potential homes, with video chats to accompany the information to the buyers. Arranging and rearranging showings, negotiating price, amenities, extras and repairs on behalf of the sellers.

LaFreta is, by nature, a people person. Prior to entering into the real estate business, she traveled Texas and New Mexico as a sales representative for a major corporation. She became increasingly attracted to the real estate profession through her interactions with realtors during several family home sales. She feels that assisting people through one of life's most challenging events is a glorious way to earn a living! She provides personalized client service based on a saying by editor H.L. Mencken, "A home is not mere shelter: its essence lies in the personalities of the people who live in it." Her clients are impressed with her generosity and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that the transaction proceeds to closing without a hitch. LaFreta is a 21-year veteran of the Real Estate Industry and believes that every transaction, whether buying or selling, should be a 5 star experience. She grew up in Central Texas and received her degree from Tarleton State University, in marketing. True to her Texas roots, she loves family time, country living, cooking outdoors, and is never too busy to provide advice and fellowship over a good cup of coffee.
